She Learned to Die
I was HOT, now I'm not. Please help fix that by nominating She Learned to Die on KindleScout—if you haven't already done so. (I promise it isn't about poetry.) See the home page of this website for the book blurb. You can also read the first 5000 words at the link for KindleScout. You'll also receive a free ebook should it be selected for publication by Kindle Press.
Amazon doesn't show the number of nominations and gives no clue as to how they are trending. But, I have to believe that being HOT & TRENDING increases exposure and potentially nominations from strangers.
For those of you who nominated me, thank you. I enjoyed my week as hot and trending, but, alas, it did turn out to be a hot flash.
Until it Bleeds: A Tony Conte Mystery
Meanwhile, I've almost got my summer release, Until it Bleeds, ready. It's the sequel to Illegally Dead, which, you may recall, left the reader up in the air about Tony's wife, Jennifer's, illness. That mystery will be resolved. The title Until it Bleeds is a takeoff on a 80's misquote (probably) of Ronald Reagan—squeeze the healthcare system until it bleeds, which happened with the introduction of managed care. In this case, the issue is with hospital finances. The story kicks off with the chief financial officer murdered and Tony critically injured.
Imperfect Obsession: A Sophia Burgess and Ray Stone Imperfect Mystery
This is my WIP, also known as work in progress. I'm working on chapter 12 of the first draft, which puts me, roughly, 1/3 into the work.
Thanks for reading. (By the way, I updated my Gregg's Garden site--still 100% on my iPad.)
Later.
