Welcome to my new Blog

My website needed a remake, and my blog needed an update.  As I move forward, I wanted both features on one site.  My son, Benjamin, works for Weebly. He clued me in on the possibilities of building and editing my site online without having to use a complicated html editor such as DreamWeaver.

Don't get me wrong.  I think DreamWeaver is fine.  But, it is way more editor than I need.  The other issue is that I now enjoy my MacBook Pro and don't like moving to Steve's PC to update my site.

The whole process site design and building took me about three hours from start to finish.  I needed help a few days ago to reactivate my abandoned account--tech support at Weebly accomplished that in less than one day.  I followed the directions from Weebly and was able to point my GoDaddy acquired domaine to Weebly.  The 24 hour anticipated transition time took about two hours.  GoDaddy assisted me with transferring my email address to an email only account so that I can cancel my web hosting with them.

All in all, it was a very productive and, dare I say, enjoyable activity.

Let me know what you think of the new site design.  Make suggestions.  I'll appreciate the input.

Hi there. I have Googled you from time-to-time to see what you are up to. I found this website and I just purchased a copy of "Illegally Dead" from Amazon! I will bring it by to be autographed when I come by for a visit. I have always wanted a copy. Also, I would love to come to the launch on Friday, February 7th. I have off from school that day. I look forward to seeing you soon! -Valerie
PS. I always get a kick out of seeing my picture you took with my group at Coral Springs on your Home Page. lol.
